This position, the first of three planned hires, will be in the mechanical engineering track. It will require the ability to teach mechanical engineering, physics, and lab courses, and potentially other courses that contribute to the general education curriculum. In addition, there is an expectation of developing a research program appropriate for undergraduate involvement, participating in service to the department and Augustana College community, taking a role in helping to develop new courses, and fostering a diverse and inclusive program.
