Sr. Mechanical/HVAC Design Engineer

Sci-Tek Consultants, Inc. is a dynamic engineering and consulting firm with 25 years of experience providing value-added answers to the many and varied challenges posed by our clients. With 47 employees located in our Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Washington, PA offices, we provide civil, environmental, and geotechnical, engineering and surveying services.

Due to expansion, we are developing an MEP Building Systems engineering practice within the firm. We are seeking a Mechanical/HVAC Design Engineer for our Pittsburgh, PA office to provide design engineering, production and project delivery for a diverse portfolio of building system design in the commercial, institutional, and public infrastructure market segments. The successful candidate will be involved with all aspects of mechanical design, including HVAC systems, plumbing and fire protection.

Required Skills/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; with a PE registration (PA licensure preferred).
• 8 + Years, experience with developing designs for MEP/HVAC systems in new and existing facilities, managing projects, setting priorities, and meeting established schedules.
• Proficient using AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Excellent proposal/report writing, client relationships, and management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
