The Job
 
Warner Bros. Technology seeks a Sr. Cloud Engineer for the Workplace Technology & Architecture Department. The role of the Sr. Cloud Engineer is to meet application services needs through the backend configuration, design, development, implementation and support.  Primary application of these duties will span across collaboration platforms, workstation platforms, security applications, cloud services and cloud infrastructure. The Engineer is expected to demonstrate high level technical skills and will also be responsible for staying current on rapidly changing technologies.
 
The Daily
 
  • Operational, Design and Development Support.
  • Provides backend configuration, maintenance and support for services and security applications including but not limited to Microsoft 365, Okta, Active Directory, Windows Server and other various services and platforms.
  • Provide configuration, maintenance and support of public cloud applications living AWS and Microsoft Azure.
  • Plans detailed requirements for new and changing infrastructure services.
  • Builds and test pilot versions for new and changing services.
  • Creates solution documentation.
  • Provides senior technical troubleshooting incident and problem resolution for endpoint services platform offerings.
  • Manages overall security frameworks and practices as they pertain to identity and collaboration platforms.
  • Partners with client and portfolio owners to assist with technology implementation initiatives across the business units.
  • Develop administration automation scripts and infrastructure automation procedures to streamline management and administration of client services platforms.
  • Technical skillset and personal development, research and development.
 
 
The Essentials
 
  • BA/BS degree in relevant preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of senior-level (tier 3) administration and engineering experience in an enterprise IT environment, having performed operational and break/fix activity along with engineering and design.
  • Microsoft Exchange (2010/2013/2016) and Online version.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience supporting Exchange Online and Microsoft O365.
  • In-depth experience with Exchange and Skype On-premise to O365 migrations.
  • Hands-on expertise of working with a complex Active Directory infrastructure environments and the requirement of strictly following standards, procedures and processes.
  • Expertise in coordination and escalation to Microsoft support and ability to coordinate with first- and third-party software vendors as needed for resolution of business-impacting problems.
  • Experience in Hybrid exchange environments, Azure Info sec, engineer/ build O365 roll out.
  • Strong knowledge of Migrations from legacy on premise Exchange 2013 to Office365.
  • Strong experience with PowerShell scripting.
  • Ability to understand and Design a large enterprise-level solution upon technical, application and business requirements.
  • Knowledge to develop and execute complex deployment scenarios.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Identity management experience with Okta and ADFS and Application federation.
  • 4+ years of experience with AWS, including but not limited to heavy experience with IAM, VPC, EC2, ALB, S3, CloudWatch, Cloudfront, and Cloudformation (or azure equivalent).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, Ansible.
  • MCSE or Related Cert.
  • Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions certificate.
  • AWS solution architect cert.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel, both in person and on the telephone.
  • Must be able to pay close attention to complex detail and understand written and oral instructions.
  • Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively.
  • Must be able to work well under time constraints.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities, communicating changes in scope and schedule to all parties concerned.
  • Must be service-oriented.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including possible overtime, when necessary.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
