This individual will lead the product roadmap and strategy for the Discover it Student card. In this role, they will source and leverage consumer insights, market trends and competitive activity to define and develop the product roadmap. In addition, they will work with a large cross functional group of partners, including Brand, Consumer Insights, Creative agencies, Customer service, Finance, Analytics, Technology and external Partners to define, develop and implement these features and monitor customer experience, feedback and impact to growth metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Develops products to address unmet needs of customer segments. Validates products through research, analysis, and financial diligence to ensure profitability and growth potential.
  • Creates roadmaps for products and processes. Designs products to create distinction and competitive advantage.
  • Coordinates cross-functional teams to launch and implement marketing initiatives and new partnerships.
  • Analyzes competitive strategies to maintain market share.
  • Prepares and tracks financial performance and develops performance metrics.
  • Manages budgets and financial forecasts.

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here's what we need from you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in Management, Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Analytics or related field, including people management
  • In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of experience in Management, Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Analytics, Relationship Management or related field, including people management
  • Experience in Product strategy and development of features and digital experiences based on consumer insights and feedback, as well creating and measuring digital marketing and communications

Preferred Qualifications

If we had our say, we'd also look for:

  • Master's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in Management, Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Analytics or related field, including people management
  • Experience working on products addressing the college students segment , preferably in financial services, is a plus
