We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will lead the system development lifecycle for a large-scale information system to include hardware, software and the respective system requirements, interfaces, budget, and schedule. You will also be given the opportunity to diversify our skillset and expand your career aspirations.

Required:

+ You have an advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in a related STEM discipline; or equivalent experience and education (BS + 4 years; AS + 8 years; No Degree + 12 years)
+ You can obtain a DOE Q clearance

Desired:

Ideally, your background would also include:

+ 5 or more years experience with architecting or engineering high-consequence information systems
+ Experience with systems engineering discipline to include
+ Software engineering experience
+ Systems integration experience
+ System lifecycle management
+ Requirements gathering, mapping, and validation experience
+ Current DOE clearance

Department Description:

The System and Environments Engineering Department is a capability-based organization that architects, develops, integrates, tests, and deploys large highly reliable mission critical systems using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). We have expertise in R&D and Information Technology across many disciplines including large-scale software engineering, computer science, and computer engineering. Our specific capabilities include computer hardware/software architectures, system administration/networking, cyber security, failover/redundancy, continuous integration, system integration/verification, and performance assessment. We demonstrate these capabilities to innovate high-rigor solutions while supporting existing critical customer needs. Our current responsibility includes support for nonproliferation and national security missions for the US Nuclear Detonation Detection System.

Security Clearance:
