The Nuclear Deterrence Governance and Engineering Process team is seeking a motivated R&D Systems Engineer. If you have passion and the ability to lead in the sustainment and evolvement of how we realize Nuclear Weapon Product, then join our diverse team of professionals!

+ Develop and improve approaches vital to realize nuclear weapons product.
+ Partner with leadership to drive NW Governance of product (WEC, WEC ESG, PRAC, DGB, PGB, SGB, RGB and NEA Council).
+ Develop various elements of the Realize Product Subsystem (RPSS) architecture.
+ Support the NW Requirements Integration Office (NWRIO) analyzing impact of proposed requirement to NW product realization.
+ Engage NNSA and external systems engineering partners to improve interfaces and handoffs.
+ Consult current weapons projects on 6.X product realization issues.

This position requires occasional travel.

+ Bachelors and advanced degree (Masters or Phd) in a relevant STEM discipline, plus (2) years relevant experience; or Bachelor's in a relevant STEM discipline plus (5) years of relevant experience in lieu of an advanced degree.
+ Demonstrated experience utilizing the Realize Product SubSystem (RPSS) to successfully excecute weapon lifecycle activities.
+ Implementing Common System Engineering Framework for complex programs.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a US DOE Q-level security clearance.

Required:

+ Ability to perform in a highly collaborative and teaming environment with leadership, peers and customers.
