Peace Corps Response (PCR) is a program administered by the Peace Corps federal agency. PCR sends experienced U.S. professionals to undertake short-term, high-impact service assignments in communities around the world. PCR Volunteers bring valuable skills and experiences to projects in places where they are needed the most. For every Volunteer, we provide transportation to and from the country of service, living/leave/settling in stipends, full medical and dental coverage, support from in-country staff, and a readjustment allowance of $450/month of service. PCR Volunteers work in high impact assignments ranging 6-12 months, helping to build the capacity of host country partners as well as build mutual understanding and friendship between Americans and other peoples of the world.
