Position Summary:


This position is responsible for, but not limited to, coordination of manufacturing processes in the UHP equipment manufacturing facility: Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards


Position Accountabilities:

  1. Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials and parts.
  2. Develop and maintain procedures and forms in support of assembly and testing processes.
  3. Lead process improvement teams as needed.
  4. Lead Corrective Action teams/investigations as required.
  5. Document and submit Engineering Change Requests as needed.
  6. Provide training on assembly and test skills and procedures to manufacturing technicians.
  7. Support introduction of new products into manufacturing.
  8. Collaborate with design engineering in the design/development of new products.
  9. Investigate or resolve operational problems, such as material use variances or bottlenecks.
  10. Develop quality requirements for suppliers in order to ensure incoming controls meet requirements in support of quality and on time delivery performance.
  11. Coordinate (and perform as necessary) repair and maintenance of manufacturing tools and equipment.
  12. Perform additional duties as directed from management.




Required Skills:

  1. Knowledge of Mechanical and/or Chemical processes.
  2. Strong communication skills / ability to work collaboratively with production personnel.
  3. Proficient with MS Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  4. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical production issues.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Lean manufacturing principles
  2. Knowledge of MRP systems
  3. Knowledge of SEMI standards
  4. Knowledge of CE, ASME, KGS and other applicable standards

Required Experience:

  1. Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering

Preferred Experience:

  1. 3-7 years of experience in this or a related field
