We are looking for a full-time Manufacturing Engineer to join our team to make significant contributions in running the operations behind manufacturing a game-changing product. The Job’s Mission: Responsible for Kinnos manufacturing sustaining operations; support of new product manufacturing; supply chain development; and product evaluation and testing to ensure adherence to specifications.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
Keep the manufacturing line running and in top shape, including training and MPI sustainment
Research, evaluate, design, and develop machines and tools
Design and construct test equipment; develop test protocols and issue test reports
Develop, publish, and execute QMS documented production controls
Collaborate with team members, clinicians, and customers to achieve project goals
Provide training and support to peers, clients, and business partners as required
Supplier management including cost reduction efforts
Job Dimensions:
Responsible for first pass yield and other manufacturing metrics
Timely execution of all projects and other department driven tasks
Own various aspects of the Quality Management System
Manufacturing quality engineering including incoming and in-process inspection metrics
Assist with contract manufacturer and supplier contract negotiations
Achieve cost reduction targets and other supplier metrics
Key player for new product Design Transfer to Operations
Continuously assess state of business readiness to relocate manufacturing operations if needed
You offer:
BS in Mechanical or Electrical/EECS/ECSE Engineering
5-10 years as an associate engineer, staff engineer, or engineering supervisor
Packaging engineering
Working within a quality management system for regulated devices
Ability to travel up to 10 percent
Comfortable in a start-up environment making things happen with minimal guidance
Comfortable covering a wide range of tasks from housekeeping to contract negotiation to customer-facing activities
Proficiency with solid modeling (SolidWorks)
High level of proficiency in MS Office applications
Statistical analysis skills
