You will shape the future by providing strategic direction, aligning Human Resources (HR) functional priorities with Sandias strategic objectives, inspiring boundary breaking, and driving innovation and change to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency. You will directly support a member of Sandias Senior Leadership team (Associate Laboratory Director), delivering customer value by recognizing customer needs and developing, implementing and maintaining process and team capabilities to deliver products and services.

On any given day, you may be called on to:

+ Lead and manage individual contributor HR team members, including hiring, professional development, and growth.
+ Energize the team by leading, managing, mentoring, and ensuring an inclusive work environment.
+ Ensure that the role of the HRBP aligns with your assigned division and corporate strategic objectives that serve to meet needs and enable corporate and HR initiatives.
+ Own the development and effective execution of large-scale company and division programs and initiatives that are deployed through the HRBP team.
+ Provide consultation on highly complex employee relations and organizational issues.
+ Deliver value by recognizing customer needs and building, implementing, and maintaining processes and team capabilities to deliver creative products and services.


+ Bachelors degree
+ Ten years HR experience, five of which have been supporting executive management
+ Minimum of two-years of demonstrated leadership experience


+ Masters degree in relevant field
+ Ten years experience in two or more HR disciplines
+ Experience managing matrixed employees
+ SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, PHR, or other relevant HR certification

Division 3000 develops and delivers human resource and communication strategies in order to maintain the workforce necessary for Sandia's current and future business needs. Division responsibilities include conveying and promoting Sandia's accomplishments, capabilities, and image to customers and stakeholders. The division is involved in: Health, Benefits, Employee Relations, Business & Professional Development, Media Relations, Video & Creative Services, Talent Acquisition, and Communications.

Security Clearance:
