Responsible for developing continuous monitoring solutions for rapid identification of risk occurrences by applying both traditional and machine learning analytic techniques. Assist in the transition to next-generation data platforms and tools.

Responsibilities

* Develop, test, and implement quantitative solutions (e.g. models, reports, other analytic processes) that leverage structured and unstructured data from internal and external sources

o Analyze large quantities of data to identify risk occurrences through detection of patterns, trends, and exceptions within key business processes

o Adhere to applicable documentation and data governance standards to ensure consistent data integrity, appropriate data handling, and process excellence

* Assist in the development of tools and techniques to ensure the company is using the best analytical tools

* Partner with business process owners and technology teams to implement effective, accurate, and high-value analytic solutions

* Identifies emerging compliance and legal risk impacting the company and communicates them to management. Supports the implementation and enhancement of projects and initiatives.

* Assists with the management of internal and external examinations. Ensures compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

* Designs and conducts peer reviews of test steps for controls. Tests the operating effectiveness of controls to mitigate risk.

* Leads the execution of Business Unit Testing and Monitoring. Enhances and manages control documentation. Performs database and tracking mechanisms. Ensures the validity of data and auditing guidelines.

* Meets with Control Owners to understand their controls. Requests evidence to execute tests of controls.

* Provides guidance and direction to team members.

* Develops, implements, and maintains audit and compliance review plans. Manages process reviews to measure compliance and risk. Creates and implements process review plans for new processes in enterprise operations. Ensures ongoing relevance of plans and sample sizes.

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here's what we need from you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Organizational Behavior, Law
  • In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in Business, Operations, Audit, Compliance, Law

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, Organizational Behavior, Law
  • Lean Six Sigma
  • Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager
  • Certified Internal Auditor
  • CAMS: Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist
  • CIPP: Certified Information Privacy Professional
  • Master's Degree in Quantitative or related Business discipline (statistics, economics, engineering, computer science, or related field). In lieu of a Master's degree, 3+ years of experience in analytics or data science, including a Bachelor's Degree
  • Coding experience should include SAS, Python, SQL, and/or R; Working knowledge of AWS/Snowflake; Working knowledge of Teradata and/or Hadoop; Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Visio)
  • Project management experience; Excellent written and verbal communication skills
