New Faculty Search: Instructor Position in Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), Oxford, Mississippi, is seeking to fill a full-time instructor position in Mechanical Engineering, beginning January 2020. The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, and a Master's in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field. Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering. The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for teaching undergraduate courses. In general, the candidate may expect to teach courses on topics: Thermal and Fluids/ Structures and Dynamics/ Materials, preferably courses such as Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Propulsion, and Compressible Flows. At least two years of teaching experience in various mechanical engineering related topics is desirable.
