We are looking for a dedicated Information System Engineering Project Manager to help us lead Center 2500 into an advanced level of smart manufacturing\. You will be in a key position, with wide scope for the technical portfolio of mission critical manufacturing information technology \(IT\)/operational technology \(OT\) projects in the Component Science, Engineering and Production Center 2500\. You will attain and maintain Project Management Certifications\. Using project management and information systems engineering expertise you will, plan, lead, and direct the execution of technical information systems engineering projects through the entire system's lifecycle \(requirements, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, operations, retirement\)\. You will act as the principal project interface with internal and external customers, partners, suppliers, project team members, and management in order to deliver information systems according to cost, schedule, and performance requirements\. The position is responsible for making technical decisions, managing changes and configurations, risks, and quality, and recommending process improvements\.You will attain and maintain Project Management Certifications\.Some travel is required\.

Required:

+ Bachelors degree in relevant discipline plus five or more years of experience, or equivalent experience and/or education/achievements
+ Leadership/Project Management skills
+ Active DOE Q\-level security clearance

Desired:

+ Demonstrated IT Project Management/Leadership skills, including the ability to articulate the plan and execute the project to successful completion\.
+ Proficiency in processes, tools, and applications commonly used in information systems development and project management\.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills, and ability to develop and champion effective relationships internal and external to the organization\.
+ Certification as Scrum Master\.
+ PMP Certified
+ Strong analytical and organizational skills\.
+ Proven expertise in Agile Project Management methods, frameworks, and tools\.
+ Demontrated ability to lead large strategic efforts with positive outcomes\.
+ Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a constantly changing environment\.
+ Knowledge of Nuclear Weapon Component Manufacturing and Supplier Quality\.
+ Experience in strategic IT work programs, portfolio management, executive communications, and strategic analysis for technical solutions\.
+ Knowledge and familiarity with Sandia corporate acquisition and contracting\.
+ Skill in working closely with customers and suppliers to define expectations and mutual responsibilities\.

The Cyber Engineering & Technology Department \(2577\) provides cyber technology products and services for Center 2500\. These mission\-specific services and products complement the existing corporate infrastructure\. Department 2577's embedded technical resources have deep knowledge and experience with manufacturing products, processes, and people\.

Security Clearance:

Position requires a Department of Energy \(DOE\) granted Q\-level security clearance to start\.

Position requires an active Department of Energy \(DOE\) granted Q\-level security clearance or active clearance with another US government agency, e\.g\., DOD, to be considered for this position\.
