We are seeking a highly motivated, innovative and self-driven individual to join our Enterprise End-user Computing Services team. As the selected candiate, you will be part of a team responsible for translating business needs into technical solutions and applying solutions to business problems through reasoned application of Information Technology. You will be required to implement and provide oversight of technology used to facilitate desktop support. Additionally, you will be required to analyze data and develop reports to aid in the performance measurement of end user operations in relationship to business needs.

As a member of 10763, you will ensure adherence to ITIL and Sandia Quality standard. Including following Change management for upgrades, definition of technical standards, functionality tests, documentation, and administration of licensing.

On any given day you may be called upon to:

+ Design, develop, and analyze overall architecture of internal systems, including hardware and software.
+ Determine integrated hardware and software architecture solutions that meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security needs.
+ Coordinate design and integration of total systems, including subsystems.
+ Research and recommend technology to improve current systems.
+ Develop or modify information systems, including analyzing business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary.
+ Investigate effective business solutions and applies and monitors the use of required modeling and analysis tools, methods, and standards.
+ Work with clients and staff to conduct high-level investigations for strategy studies, requirements specifications, and feasibility studies, and communicates requirements to staff.
+ Create specifications and modeling of recommended solutions using resources, standards, methods, and tools.
+ Advise on alternatives and assesses technical limitations within operations realities.

Required:

+ Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant discipline plus five or more years of experience, or equivalent:

- experience and/or achievements that demonstrate the knowledge, skills and ability to perform the duties of the job.
+ Experience creating custom scripts in C#, Java or similar programming languages.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-Level Security Clearance.

Desired:

+ Data Base Administration.
+ ITIL Foundation Certification.
+ Experience using Tableau or MS PowerBI for data analysis.
+ 2 years of more experience with administration and maintenance of 3rd party software.
+ 2 years or more of experience in the creation and visualization of reports.
+ Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Department Description:

Enterprise End-User Computing Services, Organization 10763, is comprised of teams that research, develop, and service the desktop and mobile computing environments across Sandia. Teams include Password Administration, Strategic Mobility project, Corporate Computing Help Desk, strategically located desktop support teams (CSUs), Personnel Moves, and other specialized support teams.

Security Clearance:
