We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Planner (Project Lead Technologist (CA)) to join our dynamic and diverse team!

On any given day, you may be called on to:

+ Work closely with Operations Engineers, Systems Engineers, and other O&M Maintenance Planners as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for maintenance work orders and associated job plans to ensure equipment and systems run properly and minimize impact on programs due to unplanned outages / shutdowns using IBM Maximo software.
+ Develop thorough and detailed work packages / scope of work, including field scoping of the work (which includes climbing ladders and working around equipment), detailed job plans, evaluating the need for and reviewing replacement parts, and ensuring accuracy and consistency of information in the job plan using a Master Equipment List.
+ Manage and handle multiple service contracts simultaneously, leading and scheduling all activities, working with Procurement and Suppliers.
+ Schedule and coordinate execution of the work, using in-house maintenance crews and/or service contractors.
+ Participate in additional responsibilities which may include transitioning assets from completed projects into O&M environment new, replaced, and removed, and formalizing and ensuring accuracy and consistency of Service Level Agreements for Tenant owned equipment supported by Maintenance.

Required:

+ High School diploma or GED certificate plus 5 or more years of directly related experience in a maintenance trade on building infrastructure systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Experience working in related area such as facilities engineering, operations, or maintenance
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance.
+ Selected applicants will be required to pass a Job Placement Assessment before beginning the job to ensure that they can perform the essential physical requirements, with or without accommodations.

Desired:

+ State journeyman License and/or Associate Degree in a related field or five (5) year Approved Apprenticeship Program Certification
+ Proficiency with a commercial computer maintenance management software (IBM Maximo preferred)
+ Formal Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) training and / or one year experience with RCM work
+ Experience on building infrastructure systems such as electrical or HVAC
+ Excellent oral / written communication, customer service skills and attention to detail.
+ Effective skills in recordkeeping, time management, and organization.
+ Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to successfully plan, organize, prioritize, lead, and monitor team efforts to completion.
+ Ability to work well independently and as a member of a process-driven and agile team

Department Description:

The Customer Operations Department is responsible for providing Maintenance planning and operational solutions and support throughout the CA site with intentional alignment to Mission Areas and Site Planning. The team coordinates planned reliability-based operations, provides maintenance support, and manages all service and utility contracts.
