Portfolio Marketing Data Science is part of the Credit, Operations \u0026 Decision Management business unit and is responsible for using data and analytics to support long-term, profitable company growth.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThis role provides thought leadership and analytic expertise to drive business solutions through subordinate Senior Managers, each responsible for managing a team of on-shore and off-shore quantitative analysts and data scientists. This individual will set strategic direction \u0026 priorities for the team, and is responsible for developing the technical skills, leadership skills, and business acumen of direct reports. In addition the candidate will be responsible for building long term analytical capabilities by investing in talent through hiring and development, increasing the use of algorithms for decision making and researching and incorporating new data into our decisions.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIn this role, the candidate will jointly own business goals with the Portfolio Marketing team. This includes annual sales growth; receivables growth; attrition/retention goals while ensuring profitability and credit standards are met. In addition, the candidate with partner closely with the Portfolio Marketing team to develop new engagement strategies for new and existing customers. The candidate will be responsible for executing on the strategy by leveraging his/her team to identify opportunities, provide insight and improve marketing effectiveness.
