Responsible for analyzing moderate business problems to be solved with automated systems. Analyzes and designs business systems. Diagnoses business needs, develops requirements, creations and implements tests plans, and provides on-going project support during the development phase. Performs post-facto comparisons of delivered solutions against original specifications. Acts as an intermediary between technology and internal clients. Implements improvements to existing processes and methodologies.


  • Devises data verification methods and standard system procedures. Participates in systems testing.
  • Works with client management to identify and specify business requirements and processes for diverse development platforms, computing environments (e.g., host-based, distributed systems, client server), software, hardware, technologies and tools. Clearly identifies all known defects are understood and agreed by the business and technology teams prior to implementations.
  • Formulates logical statements of business requirements. Devises, tests and implements efficient and cost effective application program solutions (e.g., codes and/or reuses existing codes through the use of program development software alternatives and/or integrates purchased solutions).
  • Researches and evaluates solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost effective solutions for systems/program design. Develops system specifications and procedures. Delivers technology solutions that support business goals. Provides realistic project/release estimates and meets committed delivery dates. Work with business partners to develop final requirements/user stories by the target dates. Identifies and resolves any gaps and negotiates problematic requirements. Manages and maintains overall project/release tasks and timelines. Communicates status updates and issues with management, the business and other technology teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Enrolled at an accredited university leading to a minimum of a bachelor's degree

  • Preferred majors include: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics, Management Information Systems, Information Security, Networking and Telecommunications or a related discipline

  • Graduation date between December 2019 - June 2020

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
