We seek a dedicated individual who will be responsible for the operation of a steam-driven turbine generator and its auxiliary equipment.  Auxiliary equipment includes: Steam jet air ejectors, pumps, heat exchangers and coolers, air compressors, purifiers, generator cooling systems and make-up water systems.

Duties include: Start-up and shut down of equipment, equipment monitoring through frequent rounds and logs, drawing and analyzing water samples, equipment isolation for safety to include electrical isolation; assists the control room operator during plant upset conditions.

The individual must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.  Completion of technical/trade school program which includes industrial or power plant operations; or, a minimum 5 years power plant experience is preferred.

Strong leadership and problem solving/decision making skills are essential. Must be able to communicate clearly and precisely through written and oral media. The following physical demands must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job: Be able to climb stairs and ladders, occasionally work at heights, and lift or carry 25-40 pounds.
