Production Test Operations is looking for a highly motivated individual to lead the technical engineering group in Middletown, CT with additional responsibilities supporting West Palm Beach engine test. Furthermore, the Production Test Engineering Manager is also responsible for overseeing the technical support team required to maintain compliance by completing cell calibrations, test tooling calibrations, along with supporting in-process troubleshooting during the Production Acceptance Test Process.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
Bachelors of Science in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering

  • Selected individual should have at least 7 - 10+ years of experience in working in a gas turbine engine test, overhaul, or manufacturing environment.
  • 2-4+ years of experience working as a manager in a technical group providing direction and guidance to direct reports
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage critical daily activities in order to technically support engine test and assembly activities.
  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating success guiding continuous improvement initiatives in a cross functional environment.
  • Managing a department’s internal budget while ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Lean Six Sigma (yellow / green belt added plus.)
  • Masters of Science in Engineering field with a graduate degree highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing a multi-site, multi-national team of direct reports
Education B.S. in engineering related to Mechanical or Manufacturing with a graduate degree is highly preferred.
