The Technical Planner is primarily responsible for providing operations with the appropriate work instructions and maintaining master data for the IT systems. This includes creation, maintenance, control, approval and training related to all technical data in either paper formats or electronic media.

Key Job Requirements:

1. Responsible for the development and creation of Repair Station paperwork, work instructions and procedures.
2. Maintain, revise and control all Repair Station work instructions:
a. Assembly & Disassembly Sheets
b. Customer Work Specifications
c. Fits and Clearances
d. Service Bulletins and A.D. Notes Summary Sheet
e. Clean/NDT Requirements
f. Repair Instructions
g. Inspection Records
h. Test Cell Instructions
3. Support Operations Department with paperwork issues as they arise
4. Read and interpret Overhaul Manual, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, Standard Practice Manuals and Component Maintenance Manuals. Convert all revisions into CEC paperwork.
5. Responsible for the accurate incorporation of Master Data into Master Systems.
6. Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training and supporting all applicable committee activities.
7. Must be willing to work all shifts
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

• AA / AS in Engineering, Information Technology or other related Technical Discipline
• Minimum 2 years of Technical Writing experience in a Manufacturing or Shop Operations environment
• Working knowledge of SAP and other ERP Systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• BA / BS in Engineering, Information Technology or related Technical Discipline
• Demonstrated experience analyzing and converting Technical Data into Work Instructions
• Experience working with Solumina, eFits, SAP, ESVR and Engine Manuals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Aviation/Aerospace experience a plus

Education
  • AA / AS in Engineering, Information Technology or other related Technical Discipline
  • BA / BS in Engineering, Information Technology or related Technical Discipline
