Description: Description About the Position The role involves working with the Account Maintenance and Operations (AMO) teams to e stablish documented, repeatable, accurate and efficient processes through identifying key performance indicators, data analysis, reporting, front end work tools and system technology requirements for delivering timely, accurate and professional services . At the higher levels this role will also manage relevant projects to add or improve functions of the department. Work with IT, stakeholders, end users across the Account Maintenance and Operations group to define and document business/functional requirements for both new projects and functional enhancements. This role will have responsibilities throughout the entire application development cycle including development, integration testing, user acceptance and leading the business through the deployment and adoption of the new application or functionality. Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Query data contained in systems used by AMO (i.e. CSS, CRIS, MWork, MDSI, CCAE, IEX) Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, process improvements or analysis tools for AMO team. Build online decision support and work tools that allow efficient and reportable processing of AMO activities and ability for strategic decision making by AMO team Review technical design specs to assure consistency with functional and user requirements. Balance the needs of the business and the technology groups, demonstrate in-depth knowledge of supported applications, and understand the technology impact on supported business areas. Communicate business and product knowledge to the developers and ensure that high-level business requirements have been properly translated into usable functional requirements. Assure usability/completeness of proposed solution. Assist stakeholders and users with deployment and adoption. Ability to assist users to achieve maximum productivity of applications and help them leverage existing framework to meet new requirements. Manage the day to day relationship with relevant internal parties or employees in order to understand their requirements, deliver appropriate, customized solutions and advice. Maintaining SQL Server and MS Access databases. Support tracking of financial issues and variances, supporting managers to develop responses and process improvements to support the achievement of collections/operational targets and requirements. Implementing improvement projects and initiatives, as well as challenge and support colleagues to improve performance. Provision of daily, weekly and monthly reports to specific deadlines and requirements. Provide support to Operational business teams to enable effective daily process reporting. Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for reporting improvements. Qualifications Knowledge & Experience Required Minimum Associates Degree in technical computer engineering field; preferred Bachelors. 1-3+ years experience years of Technical experience required. Excellent SQL Server, MS Access, MS SQL MS Excel and other query skills required. Strong Database Management skills including database development, management and job scheduling required. Previous experience within Accounts Processing, Collections, Customer Service, Consumer Relations, Billing preferred. Problem solving abilities to work collaboratively with others to resolve complex issues. Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally Ability to analyze, query and report on data; database tool experience preferred Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Travel is required for this position within the State of Mass, NY and RI.
