The Quality System Effectiveness team is looking for a team lead who is energetic and motivated to support the management of the audit process by leading a team of auditors, conducting audits, following-up on corrective actions and reporting audit data. Candidate is expected to demonstrate a high level of customer focus, business judgment, adaptability, teaming skills and communication skills.

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide leadership to ensure auditors are compliant with requirements
  • Lead and participate in quality system, engineering, process and product audits.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance to the requirements of the QSE Audit Program across the organization
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of standard work for the audit process
  • Interact and communicate with various groups and levels of management
  • Collect and analyze audit data to include transforming data into meaningful information shared with senior management as required
  • Provide required data for the Site Control Tower
  • Provide guidance for the development of the annual audit schedule
  • Support 2nd 3rd party audits as required
  • Maintain audit records and manage / track / follow-up on associated Corrective Action

Education

Bachelors Degree required; technical discipline preferred

Experience/Qualifications

Candidate must have 7+ years of relevant experience and have a good understanding of AS9100. Candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in various communication applications including MS Office, plus applied knowledge and daily use of ACE principles, especially RRCA/DIVE. Detailed knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes and requirements is necessary, as well as ability to read and comprehend various work instructions, quality manuals and other detailed instructions. Knowledge of special processes, engineering, purchasing, programs, contracts, process cert, FAI, NC material, MRB is a plus.

ASQ or RABQSA audit certification is a plus.
