The Systems Design and Component Integration team is looking for energetic, self- starters with strong technical background and a track record of demonstrated leadership to assume the role of Design Integration Engineer. There are multiple positions ranging from Design Integration Engineer to Design Integration Managers. These roles involve working closely with internal PW component teams along with external suppliers, partners and air-framers with the ultimate goal of providing the best system solution for the customer.

Key activities include:


1) Lead multi-disciplined PW/supplier/airframe teams to meet technical, development, and production requirements.
2) Oversee the design process to ensure systems requirements are met
3) Manage Configuration Changes
4) Lead/Supporting trade studies, coordinating exchange of technical data and resolving design issues.
5) Managing technical requirements flow-down
6) Driving root cause of Field and Quality Investigations
7) Manage Technical Risk


Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • BS in Engineering required
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant engineering experience
  • Travel to Airframe and Nacelle Suppliers required (0-10%)
  • Due to program requirements, US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS in Engineering is a plus
  • The ideal candidate should have demonstrated leadership capabilities, technical depth, strong teaming capability, and working knowledge of engineering processes
  • Exceptional communication skills are required to enable effective customer interactions
Education
  • BS in Engineering required
  • MS in Engineering is a plus
