We are seeking an Employment, Staffing, and Recruiting Specialistto serve as the Program Lead for Student Intern Programs\. This role will cultivate and develop student intern talent pipelines for Sandia Laboratories future talent needs\. You will oversee intern program operations, assist with strategic planning, staff selection and training, and address work priorities and stakeholder needs\.



On any given day, you may be called on to:



+ Serve as a strong, primary program point of contact for the Sandia Laboratories Student Intern Program\.

+ Oversee a broad set of activities related to undergrad and graduate level internships / fellowships and Sandia Technical Institutes, including recruiting strategies, hiring, compensation and current program participation administration\.

+ Ensure program eligibility standards are upheld, develop and publish periodic reports, analyze key program metrics and effectiveness\.

+ Work closely with line management, students and other human resources staff including the recruiting, staffing, and HR Business Partners at multiple site locations\.

+ Develop and execute plans that ensure a highly diverse applicant pool\. Participate in diversity recruiting initiatives and events as required\.

+ Manage and streamline hiring and internship processes within the student programs\.

+ Prepare and deliver presentations to various levels of management, provide programmatic data to HR management and HR finance analysts, and maintain accurate program\-related records\.

+ Lead or participate in special events for interns, such as the summer intern welcome, career expo, tours and other activities that enhance the internship experience at Sandia\.



This position requires occasional travel nationwide, particularly during peak campus recruiting seasons\.



Required:



+ Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline plus five or more years of relevant experience; or master's degree in relevant discipline plus two or more years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience\.



Desired:



+ Strong, relevant experience managing strategic student intern talent programs

+ Master's degree in human resources, business, management or related field

+ Experience recruiting technical talent, and pipeline development for a large technical organization, including campus recruiting/university relations

+ Demonstrated success in delivering diverse STEM and Business applicant pools

+ Experience utilizing social media and other recruitment marketing channels

+ Strong oral and written communication skills

+ Knowledge of EEO and OFCCP employment laws and requirements

+ Experience with HR processes and administration

+ Experience with HR systems such as PeopleSoft

Security Clearance:



Position requires a Department of Energy \(DOE\)\-granted L\-level security clearance\.



Sandia is required by DOE directive to conduct a pre\-employment drug testing, and a pre\-employment background review that includes personal reference checks, law enforcement record and credit checks, and employment and education verifications\.
