We are looking for talented and passionate engineers to join our team.

The Engineering organization at Pratt & Whitney is divided into four Module Centers, including Hot Section, Compression and Mechanical Systems, Fans and Externals, and Product Delivery. The Module Centers are a world-class engineering organization, aligned by component-level hardware in different sections of the jet engine. The four module centers work in tandem to deliver Pratt and Whitney’s trademark Dependable Engines.

Experienced project engineers will lead an integrated product team (IPT) made up of designers, structures engineers, product modeling & drawing staff, and systems analysts. An IPT leader will provide project management and team leadership to this team. The IPTs are tasked with sustaining fielded engines through product deficiency investigations and developing product enhancements.The IPTs will also resolve manufacturing issues in support of new engine production.The IPT leader will work with the component integrated product team (CIPT) to acquire and manage appropriate budgets for the IPT’s tasks. The leader will represent the IPT as the primary focal point to internal and external customers. Presentations to these customers including the CIPT leadership team and the Program Office are frequently required, providing exposure to various levels of senior leadership within UTC.

  • Responsible for entire projects and significant components of other projects.
  • Applies their knowledge to contribute to the team, department, and possibly the business unit
  • Fully developed professional, able to work without direct guidance from others
  • May develop and coach others
  • Has in-depth knowledge of the discipline that may extend to similar fields

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have 8+ years of related systems / engineering experience
  • Minimum of 3+ years technical leadership experience managing engineering teams, budget and resources throughout the design, development and implementation of a new product
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Direct Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead experience
  • Component level and/or module systems engineering experience
  • Active Secret Clearance


  • B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical engineering, Aerospace engineering, or related discipline
