Description: Description The Gas BusinessEnablement (GBE) project is a major long-term investment in our US gas businessto enhance compliance, improve customer service, rate case strategy andperformance. This newly created project will be a significant undertakingfor the business as we standardize and simplify our operational processes,upgrade the technical systems they run on, build on our compliance programs ina rapidly changing external environment, develop and enhance how we usetechnology in the field and ensure we have the right talent and resource plansto successfully deliver to our customers.
Reporting into theChange Management Office (CMO), but outsourced to the Workstream as Change Leadsupporting the Product Owner to effectively develop, integrate and deliverchange initiatives as part of the GBE program.
The successful candidatewill take overall accountability for leading the change management effortwithin the work stream, planning, executing and evaluating each of the ChangeManagement dimensions in line with the overall Change Management Strategy heldcentrally, but managed locally and in line with the CMO.
This exciting new positionoffers an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong business acumen,excellent organizational skills and proven experience of leading change to ownand execute on a key element of the program, aligning to benefits realizationand overall value to truly transform the US gas business.
Key Accountabilities: · Lead in the development and design of various Workstream level changestrategies across Training, Engagement, Business Readiness, Leadershipdevelopment, Sustainment, Post Go Live Support etc · Support and enable the adoption of changeprocesses across the Workstream in coordination with CMO · Own and drive the Workstream level Change& Communications Plan and provide updates to the CMO · Own and drive the Workstream leveltraining strategy and plan, developing detail Training Needs and deliveryplans for execution · Support the development of change metricsand evaluate the level of change adoption across businesses impacted bycontinuous improvement projects. · Responsible for liaising & buildingrelations with all appropriate stakeholders and provide regular input andupdates into the CMO stakeholder database · Support engagement with the VolunteerNetwork, managed centrally as part of the wider Program to build momentumaround the change · Represents the full scope of ChangeStrategy and associated approaches todrive change adoption and sustainment to the extent able to articulate valueadd and effectiveness · Train and up-skill team members in ChangeManagement strategy to build additional capabilities within and across widerchange te am
Qualifications Capability Requirements: · Extensive working knowledge of theprinciples and practices of effective Project Management · Solid understanding & knowledge ofeffectively managing organizational change · Ability to effectively engage stakeholders · Effective collaboration and partnershipcapabilities and ability to influence at all levels across the organisation · Ability to think strategically and executeon change management strategies · Strong organisational skills and theability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines · Excellent Oral and written communicationskills · Proven ability to effectively influencewithout authority · Experienced in managing risks and issuesacross projects , Programs · Results driven yet self-aware · Strong team collaboration skills · Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel · Working knowledge of MS Project an asset Knowledge& Experience Requirements: · Understanding of the Gas Utility business · Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role · 3+ year of experience in ProjectManagement, Certification a plus · Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degreepreferred, in Organizational development, Training & Development, HumanResources, Leadership or other related area · Experience of designing and implementingstakeholder engagement strategies · Experience in leading engagement changeefforts
