Description: Description The Sr/Program Manager, ChangeLeadership and Development role will lead in the planning, execution, andevaluation of change leadership activities to support National Grid’scontinuous improvement efforts. This person will focus on engaging theorganization to create an environment for change to be successfully implementedand sustainable.
Reports to the Director,Change Leadership and Development, and is responsible for the integration anddelivery of change throughout the US Gas organization.

Key Accountabilities: · Supports and enables theadoption of change processes through establishing change plans and communicationsthroughout Program lifecycle. · Establishes changeactivities through the review of program and project scope, identification ofgroup impact and comparison of current change sustainability within theorganization. · Responsible forsupporting cultural change and adoption by developing change metrics andevaluating the level of change adoption across businesses impacted bycontinuous improvement projects. · Partners withstakeholder(s) undergoing organizational change to develop stakeholderstrategy, milestones and outcomes. · Designs and deliverschange communications and training to provide leadership with the ability tochampion change. · Identifies and escalatesproject risks, and employee resistance; partners with Director, Change Leadership& Development to develop change activities to mitigate risks and gainalignment with impacted leaders/stakeholders. · Creates changemanagement communications and documents processes to ensure adherence tointernal control guidelines. · Assist in the creationof change adoption metrics to measure effectiveness of change within project. T · Reviews and makes changemethodology recommendations using a proven change management methodology, andapplying feedback from lessons learned. · Create the internaltracking and monitoring for the Urgency teams and volunteer networks. · Train and up-skill teammembers in Change Management strategy to build additional capabilities.
CapabilityRequirements:
· Demonstratedability to drive change across a complex organization (preferably a utility orcustomer facing organization) · Working knowledge of the principles andpractices of effective Project Management with Very strong organisationalskills and an ability to meet deadlines. · Provenexperience managing risks and issues across projects and programs · Strong interpersonal skills, and theability to effectively collaborate and build relationships · Excellent communication skills, bothwritten and verbal. · A flair for building relationships andconfidence to influence at a senior level, both inside and outside of theorganisation. · Abilityto facilitate workshops or training activities · DemonstratesLeadership capability across different functional areas · Changemanagement planning using a proven change management methodology · Communicationand change document creation for all levels of the organization · Knowledgeof business processes to provide guidance and feedback when developing changemanagement project plans a plus · Results driven yet self-aware
Qualifications
Knowledge& Experience Requirements: · Understanding of the Gas Utility business · Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role · 3+ year of experience in ProjectManagement, Certification a plus · Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degreepreferred, in Organizational development, Training & Development, HumanResources, Leadership or other related area · Experience of designing and implementingstakeholder engagement strategies · Experience in leading engagement changeefforts · An experienced effective communicator · Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel · Working knowledge of MS Project an asset
