Pratt & Whitney Aftermarket Supply Chain is seeking to fill a strategic Customer Sales & Support account representative position within our Tooling Support Services (TSS) group in East Hartford.

The person in this role will be responsible for managing sales volume activities for a specific product line/region. The candidate will work to maintain and improve existing customer relationships as well as support development and execution of new marketing and sales strategies for expanded growth.

Tooling Support Services (TSS) is a $60 million dollar business that sells commercial support equipment for Pratt & Whitney’s engine centers and external customers. These tools are required in order to build jet engines that support the V2500 and Next Generation Product Family programs.

Key Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Primary sales interface to the customer with daily interaction providing accurate and timely responses to quote requests, executing customer purchase orders, providing routine order status, coordinating inspection priorities, assuring export compliance, managing warehouse inventory and providing order logistics support through to delivery.
  • The candidate is required to work independently with minimal oversight, using initiative and sound judgment to identify potential sales opportunities and successfully relate PW’s OEM value advantage. The candidate will be responsible for providing work direction and overseeing sale representative work execution as well as work to drive process efficiency efforts through the use of continuous process improvement tools.
  • Team participation/leadership is required for EH&S, continuous improvement and Customer Satisfaction efforts.
