Located at our Bainbridge, PA facility, the successful candidate will supervise the personnel assigned to his/her shift, providing technical and safety training while directing their actions as necessary.  Individual monitors and ensures efficient boiler, turbine and steam plant operation in accordance with all Safety, Environmental and Standard Operating Procedures.  During the period of the assigned shift, routinely tours the plant and oversees the work of the opreators.  In the event of emergencies or unusual operations, the Shift Suprvisor will direct and personally perform the required operations or corrective actions, coordinating the activities of all personnel invoilved.  The Shift Supervisor is responsible for approving all requests for removing equipment from service for maintenance and other purposes, and for ensuring that the equipment is properly tagged and cleared in accordance with plant procedures.


Qualified candidate must have a HS Diploma/GED with a minimum of 7 years of power plant operations experience.  Associates Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent related technical training. 4-6 years power plant operations experience will also be considered.

General knowledge of Power Plant equipment and materials, operating procedures and standards to properly maintain and enforce cost effective, safe and efficientt Facility Operations is desired.  Typically requires 1-3 years supervisory experience in similar plant environment.  Strong leadership, oral and written communication and problem solving/decision making skills are a must.

Successful candidate must obtain a Provisional ASME Certification within 6 months and must obtain the full ASME Site Specific certification for Shift Supervisor within 1 year; the ideal candidate will already possess this requirement.

Must have the ability to climb ladders and structures, tolerate heights and varying temperatures, lift up to 50 lifting a minimumof 50 pounds and operate in cloe quarters and confined spaces.

Additionally, candidate must currently have a valid driver's license.
