Systems Engineering-Validation (SEV) Assembly Operations is seeking a highly motivated individual to carry out a variety of tasks related to the Management, Movement, and Control of Special tooling supporting Development Assembly within the Middletown Facility. Systems Engineering and Validation is responsible for the Validation and Development of Commercial and Military Engines at multiple test facilities. Join our organization in SEV Operations.

Responsibilities of this position include:

  • The individual will be required to coordinate tools being pulled, returned, sent out for revisions, etc. to support All models of engines being assembled, disassembled, and maintenance at test.
  • The individual will be required to read blueprints, access AFS and Soluminia work instructions, the individual will also need to use Tooling story boards and Process story boards..
  • Work with other individuals and support groups to maintain tooling is being calibrated in a timely manner to support engine build schedules.
  • The individual will work closely with Process Engineering and Tool Planning to verify a tools 1st time use is properly documented.
  • The individual will need to work with the Assembly team in verifying tooling is available to support the L3 schedules, and coordinating tools loans with other Pratt Whitney facilities.
  • The individual will submit Tool Notifications to repair tooling, track tools at repair, and offsite locations.
  • Maintain an active Foreign Object (FO) program and comply with procedures for tool control and storage of Point of use tooling.
  • The individual will coordinate and set up the process of tooling stored as POU and the return of tools that should be returned to long term storage.
