We are seeking a Training Support

On any given day, you may be called on to:

Act as the compliance and/or technical training administrator\. Administer course activities related to required technical and/or safety training to ensure safety and technical compliance needs are met and foreseen for the California site \(Division 8000\)\. As the designated, primary Training Coordinator, provides administrative support for TEDS \(Sandias current training system\) with related training documentation and records retention, and is designated as a primary training coordinator for the division\.

+ Forecasts the classroom training needs of the division

+ Collaborates and partners with local and remote course administrators and instructors for both web based and classroom training

+ Plans, schedules, coordinates and advertises learning events

+ Manages the daily sessions \(set up classroom, instruction materials, audio visual and provide support to the various instructors, and cleanup and close the session\)\.

+ Manages all course materials for the course sessions\. Manages the online training system set up and close out of training sessions in TEDS\.

+ Manages the evaluations of training programs to ensure a continuing quality program that enables mission success\.

+ Acts as a front\-line resource to manage/resolve inquiries from clients regarding training sessions and compliance requirements\.

+ Maintains the training department email account\.

+ Administers specific training initiatives driven by Division 8000 and Corporate\.

+ Performs a variety of administrative tasks in training and development department\.

+ Facilitates the New Hire Orientation and assists with the program\. Acts as back up for team members\.


+ Requires high school diploma plus three or more years of directly related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience\.

+ Experience in project planning, scheduling, coordination, execution, monitoring, and follow\-through\.

+ Experience managing Learning and Development programs\.

+ Facilitated New Hire Orientation\.

+ Skilled in training metrics including data gathering, collation, analysis, trending, tracking, and reporting\.

+ Skilled problem\-solver with strong analytical skills\.

+ Skilled in a HR and/or Learning Management System\.

+ Strong written and oral communication skills\.

+ Strong interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and with teams\.

+ Knowledge of common office software\.

+ Knowledge of common audiovisual and office equipment\.

Security Clearance:

Position requires a Department of Energy \(DOE\)\-granted L\-level security clearance\.

Sandia is required by DOE directive to conduct a pre\-employment drug testing, and a pre\-employment background review that includes personal reference checks, law enforcement record and credit checks, and employment and education verifications\.
