The Externals Structures group supporting military development programs has an opportunity for a highly motivated structures engineer. Excellent opportunity to join a challenging, collaborative team while broadening technical skills. Job duties include:
• Structural analysis of tubes, brackets, component mounts, fabricated ducts as well as metal or composite engine fan by-pass ducts using classical and numerical modeling methods to ensure that design configurations meet key program durability requirements.
• Developing and executing plans for structural testing of Externals components in engines, rigs and component testing
• Actively participating in the Integrated Product Team (IPT) process by providing structural recommendations and leadership and ensuring the configuration is optimized to meet all requirements.
• Collaborating with the structures team to develop tools, methods, improve skills and share learning
