Because of a strategic commitment, United Technologies Aerospace Systems (UTAS) created an Electronic Systems Center (ESC) headquartered in scenic Phoenix, AZ. The ESC supports a wide variety of UTAS aerospace products with state-of-the-art facilities and expertise. The ESC team designs, tests, builds, and supports electronic units and systems for all parts of the Enterprise.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Software Engineer will work with a global team of engineers in Phoenix and India, on real time embedded software for electronic control units for aerospace applications. The responsibilities include requirements definition using DOORS, detailed design, code implementation using embedded software, validation of requirements and verification of implementation. It also includes managing Problem reports for the software that has already been delivered.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills and work well in a team environment.
Qualifications BA/BS degree with 4+ years experience

Preferred:
========
Experience working within DO-178B/C certification program(s)
Model Based Development
Education BS degree in Electrical, Systems or Computer Engineering is required.
