Description: Description About the Position: TheGas Business Enablement project is a major long-term investment in our US gasbusiness to enhance compliance, improve customer service, rate case strategyand performance. This newly created project will be a significant undertakingfor the business as we standardize and simplify our operational processes,upgrade the technical systems they run on, build on our compliance programs ina rapidly changing external environment, develop and enhance how we usetechnology in the field and ensure we have the right talent and resource plansto successfully deliver to our customers. Thisrole will be the responsible for leading the Salesforce development team atNational Grid to support and enhance the application using a Scaled Agilemethodology.
Qualifications Job Duties andResponsibilities Participatein all phases of software development life cycle including functional analysis,development of technical requirements, prototyping, coding, testing, deploymentand support Develophigh-quality and scalable application logic with Apex and SOQL Develophighly interactive UI using Lightning Design System, Visualforce, JavaScriptand JQuery technologies. Developcustom applications using Salesforce. com and integrating with other systems Applybest practices and design patterns of best-of-breed applications developed onthe Salesforce. com platform AdvocateSalesforce. com and mentorjunior members of the development team Createand execute unit, integration and user acceptance test plans, including usecases and test data Operateand leverage Agile and Scrum methodologies Gather,analyze and document functional and technical requirements for new projects,enhancements to existing solutions and production issues reported by end users DevelopmentOperations (DEV OPS) experience including using continuous integration andrepository applications to streamline development and automate deployments RequiredSkills/Experience 5or more years of development experience with Apex, VisualForce and Athorough understanding of the Salesforce platform with the ability to interactwith business users to understand requirements in order to translate them intodesign specifications Lightningand Lightning Component experience Experiencewith Communities, Service Cloud, Knowledge, and other Salesforce apps andAppExchange packages Experiencewith field service business processes and practices. Salesforce Service cloudand Field service lightning experience preferred Understandingof SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, SAFe and others) SalesforceCertified Administrator, Platform App Builder, Developer 1, and Service CloudConsultant Required.
