In support of Pratt & Whitney's commercial engines aftermarket ramp-up this is a newly created position reporting to the Director of Aftermarket Engineering for Commercial Programs within Global Services Engineering (GSE). This role will lead Repair Design Engineering tasks and initiatives in support of PW1000G engine overhauls in our Columbus Engine Center in Georgia. Additional key aspects of this role will be to mentor other RDE’s onsite at the CEC and work with CEC Aftermarket Operations associates and other engineering associates at CEC and in East Hartford. The focus of the repair engineering activities supporting CEC will be to minimize engine shop visit disassembly-assembly-test (DAT) turn-around-time (TAT) and cost.

Qualification: Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Must be a strong team player, team leader and coach who can work within a multi-discipline technical team environment to support engine services requirements.

Education: BSME or BSAE with a minimum of 10 years of gas turbine development and support experience. An MBA is not required however it would be preferred. Candidate must also have an GSE ESW RDE proficiency level of 3 or greater
