We are seeking a motivated recruiting specialist to plan and execute recruiting and sourcing efforts that generate diverse, high caliber candidates to meet Sandia's staffing demands\. The successful candidate will oversee several campus teams that recruit for the laboratories' scientific, engineering and business needs nationwide, and provide targeted recruiting support to a specific client group\. Coordinates a high volume of recruiting activities/events and provides guidance to other staff\.



On any given day, you may be called on to:



+ Develop, support, and execute a broad range of activities that support Sandias recruiting and hiring programs\.

+ Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies/plans to source applicants; aggressively source and contact qualified candidates for open positions through active recruiting methods including but not limited to campus recruiting, social media promotion and outreach, job boards, internet sourcing using resume databases, Boolean searches and referrals\.

+ Plan and execute campus recruiting programs, working with campus teams and hiring managers\.

+ Develop and execute plans that ensure a highly diverse applicant pool\. Participate in national diversity recruiting conferences\.

+ Review, screen and evaluate applicants; refer qualified candidates to hiring managers; manage communications and the applicant experience\.

+ Develop metrics and measures to track effectiveness and ROI\.

+ Develop and share periodic hiring updates and status reports to key stakeholders\.



This position requires the willingness and ability to travel nationwide up to 50% of the time, and is heaviest during fall and spring campus recruiting seasons\.



Required:



+ Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline plus five or more years of experience; or master's degree in relevant discipline plus two or more years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience\.



Desired:



+ Master's degree in human resources, business, management or related field\.

+ Talent acquisition and pipeline development experience in a large, multi\-site high\-tech, scientific or engineering organization\.

+ Experience with college intern programs and talent pipeline development\.

+ Experience with sourcing, screening and qualifying employment prospects at new grad through experienced level\.

+ Experience utilizing recruitment marketing tools and advertising channels, such as LinkedIn, Indeed\.

+ Ability to lead programs or projects in a matrixed environment\.

+ Knowledge of EEO and OFCCP laws and requirements\.

+ Experience with HR Systems such as PeopleSoft\.

+ Completion of Recruiter Certification Program such as Airs or LinkedIn\.

+ Active DOE/DOD Security Clearance\.

+ SHRM Certification\.

Security Clearance:



Position requires a Department of Energy \(DOE\)\-granted L\-level security clearance\.



Sandia is required by DOE directive to conduct a pre\-employment drug testing, and a pre\-employment background review that includes personal reference checks, law enforcement record and credit checks, and employment and education verifications\.
