We are seeking an Employment, Staffing, and Recruiting Specialistto serve as the Program Lead for Recruiting Programs\. In this hands\-on recruiting role, the successful candidate will provide leadership and strategic guidance for Sandias recruiting efforts, including campus recruiting and diversity initiatives\. He or she will develop, plan and execute thoughtful and innovative approaches to recruiting with a strong focus on business results\.



On any given day, you may be called on to:



+ Lead strategic annual planning and tactical execution of corporate talent pipeline development and recruiting efforts, including leadership of campus, discipline and diversity recruiting teams for Sandia's New Mexico and California sites\. Oversee campus recruiting budgets\.

+ Work with the Recruiting Specialist team to design, implement and execute robust, innovative, university specific recruiting strategies to attract and hire top talent in line with the labs workforce plan\. Partner with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to understand organizational goals and needs\.

+ Partner closely with Sandias Student Intern Programs to identify, recruit and deliver top talent for our future talent pipeline\.

+ Own and manage recruiting operations for several schools that are part of Sandias campus recruiting program, including developing and maintaining relationships with university professionals such as careers services, faculty staff, campus organizations, societies, ambassadors and alumni that will enable us to amplify our employment brand on campus and attract top candidates\.

+ Conduct market research to ensure target schools and academic programs are recommended and aligned to meet the organizations university talent needs and business capabilities

+ Determine and execute appropriate recruitment marketing strategies and plans, while delivering excellent customer service to recruiting teams and line management\.

+ Perform analysis of annual campus recruiting performance \(pipeline quality, offer/acceptance rates, conversion rate of summer interns to full\-time offers, etc\.\) and strategic assessment of sourcing channels and methodologies\. Analyze new trends and share best practices\.

+ Provide project lead oversight to special recruiting projects, special invitation and strategic events\.

+ Provide input to the Recruiting and Student Programs Manager in staff selection and job assignments\.

+ Determine and implement appropriate metrics to evaluate effectiveness and ROI of recruiting budget\. Plan and implement regular reporting for recruiting function\.



This position requires occasional travel nationwide, particularly during peak campus recruiting seasons\.



Required:



+ Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline plus five or more years of relevant experience; or master's degree in relevant discipline plus two or more years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience\.



Desired:



+ Master's degree in human resources, business, management or related field\.

+ 3 \- 5 years of campus relations or recruiting experience, preferably in technology\-driven companies

+ Ability to effectively plan events, guide multiple projects and priorities, while maintaining flexibility to shift priorities as needed to meet business goals

+ Strong comfort level in using metrics to assess ROI and performance; strong information and data\-driven approach to decision\-making

+ People, team or project leadership experience

+ Ability to learn and use new tools, new technologies to collaborate and communicate more effectively\.

+ Experience with HR systems such as PeopleSoft

+ Strong Microsoft office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint\.

+ Knowledge of EEO and OFCCP laws and requirements\.

Security Clearance:



Position requires a Department of Energy \(DOE\)\-granted L\-level security clearance\.



Sandia is required by DOE directive to conduct a pre\-employment drug testing, and a pre\-employment background review that includes personal reference checks, law enforcement record and credit checks, and employment and education verifications\.
