This critical leadership role within the MSEN (Mechanical Systems, Externals and Nacelles) Module Center is responsible for the leadership and management of the Product Cost reduction efforts for the Module Center. The will include the NEO and NGPF programs as we launch this effort and will eventually expand to include the F135 program as we get further into 2018.

The Global Supply Chain team is responsible for working closely with suppliers across the world to ensure we deliver affordable, high-quality parts that meet our customer's dynamic needs. Our team fosters an internal environment that thrives on utilization of the UTC ACE operating system, while coaching and supporting the supply base to ensure they meet our quality standards and achieve success in their lean journey. We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work in a challenging environment. The candidate should able be able to provide a high level of customer focus while meeting business objectives.

The role of Value Stream Manager is both exciting & challenging. This position requires exceptional problem-solving skills & the ability to build efficient working relationships across the many P&W functional groups; Supply Chain, Quality, Materials, Continuous Improvement, Production Readiness, Engineering, MCL, ESA, Global Work Share (GWS) and multiple suppliers. Strong communication skills, specifically conversational, email, and telephone, are required. Delighting customers is a must by providing timely and accurate updates via the most desired communication means.

The Value Stream Manager will lead a team consisting of a Supply Chain Manager plus a team of Account Specialists for the CSMC Raw Materials Value Stream, with a co-located support group from Quality, Materials, Planning, Manufacturing Engineering with full support from the CIPT to deliver quality components on-time at target cost.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership and engage employees in the business through use of the ACE Operating System. This includes leading selected ACE elements that will guide / lead the Fasteners and Seals Team to ACE Gold.
- Develop and execute Supplier Gold Strategy for hardware in your value stream.
- Develop a strong delivery plans to support our customers that align with the needs of all CSMC finished part Value Streams.
- Responsible for maintaining the Supplier Relationship strategy.
- Develop and execute staffing and personnel development plans to support the long term sourcing strategy.
- Ensure Export Control Compliance
