Job Description

The N&EI P1400G CIPT is looking for a Deputy CIPT Leader position responsible for the product development of the PW1400G Nacelle and Engine Mounts for P&W commercial products.

The Deputy CIPT Leader is a highly visible leadership opportunity and will be expected to fulfill the majority of the CIPT leader’s program/project management responsibilities, and lead key initiatives as required. This position operates across a wide range of disciplines, management levels (within PW and suppliers), and includes considerable direct customer interaction requiring excellent written and oral communication skills.

Typical duties include:
- Work closely with the program offices, customers and suppliers to:
- Ensure requirements are understood and flowed to the Suppliers
- Coordinate and communicate resolution of technical issues

- Support the Configuration Management Process including EC execution

- Work closely with the industrial team to ensure on-time delivery of nacelle hardware
- Provide comprehensive engine development plan support (e.g. input to program L1 schedules and creation of L1.5 schedules)
- Provide leadership & direction to the team ensuring execution of the development programs
- Lead special projects as required
- Establish and manage yearly budgets and monthly EVMS reports/analyses
- Prepare Monthly Program Reviews, customer and supplier reviews

Experience/Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7-10 yrs experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Requires demonstrated leadership capability
- Budget management
- Schedules & requirements management

Previous experience in an engine development/FAA certification program, and experience with nacelles, externals, or aircraft interfaces is a plus.

Education

BSME or Aerospace is required. An advanced degree and/or MBA is a plus.
