Global Services Engineering (GSE) is looking for an energetic individual to assist the GSE Program Managers to manage engine part repair development activities supporting the Next Generation Product Family (NGPF) of engines. Main focus will be the PW1100G-JM for the Airbus A320neo and the PW1500G for the Bombardier CSeries aircraft, but will grow to include the PW1200G for the Mitsubishi MRJ, the PW1400G for the Irkut MC-21, the PW1700G and PW1900G for the Embraer E-Jets and the PW800 for the Gulfstream G500/600. This position offers excellent opportunity for career progression into a GSE Program Manager role for candidates with appropriate educational credentials. The PW1000G Deputy Program Manager will assist the GSE NGPF Program Managers to manage multiple priorities and projects in a globally distributed organization that supports P&W���s worldwide commercial customer base. Responsibilities include assisting the Program Manager with: ��� Tracking repair development task progress and clearing logistical roadblocks to ensure technical Repair Development Engineering (RDE) and Designated Engineering Representative (DER) tasks are completed to support on-time technical data delivery; ��� Interfacing with the respective Integrated Program Management Team (IPMT), Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPT) and Customer Technical Services teams to report on repair development task status and maintain task priorities; ��� Interfacing with GSE Sector managers, RDEs, DERs Customer Technical Service (CTS,) Maintenance Data Engineering (MDE,) Materials & Processes Engineering (MPE,) Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO) units, Engine Services and the GSE Aftermarket Managers deployed to the CIPTs; ��� Coordination with GSE suppliers on outsourced repair development tasks; ��� Financial processes and budgeting; ��� Representing GSE at key meetings when the Program Manager cannot attend; ��� Supporting repair sourcing activities as necessary; ��� ACE/Program Deployment Improvement Target team support; ��� Market Feedback Analysis (MFA) data gathering.| ��� BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing) is preferred ��� Candidates with a BS in non-technical disciplines with significant relevant technical and Aftermarket experience will also be considered| ��� 7 years related work experience in engineering, customer service, aftermarket or operations; ��� Basic understanding of project management and effective budgeting/budget planning; ��� Background working with EVMS, e-Outsourcing, Team Center, EagleNet, MS Project, Power Point and Excel preferred; ��� Demonstrated ability to work independently ��� Ability to team effectively across organizations to accomplish goals; ��� Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers
