Intern level project engineers will be valued members of the Capital Equipment Procurement Office, (CEPO), made up of Manufacturing Engineers, Machine Designers, Tooling Engineers, Project Managers, and Systems Analysts. The CEPO staff are tasked with designing, specifying and procuring manufacturing equipment to produce aircraft engines components. The CEPO will also resolve manufacturing issues in the support of new engine production. This position is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of disciplines within engineering. Individually, the intern level project engineer will be tasked with project management activities such as developing technical specification, project budget and schedule, conduct equipment qualification and delivery coordination. The candidate will work in a multi-disciplinary team, execute engineering standard work, and drive tasks to meet program milestones. This is a unique opportunity for a junior or senior college student or a graduating professional to work on the best engines in the world.

Level of responsibility includes:

  • Responsible for small projects or multiple tasks within functional discipline.
  • Ability to make contribution to the team through their knowledge.
  • Ability to work with moderate guidance on projects.
  • Must have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the engineering discipline and role.
