We are looking for talented and passionate engineers to join our team.

Pratt & Whitney Engineering is a world class organization divided into four Module Centers; Hot Section, Compression and Mechanical Systems, Fans and Externals and Product Delivery.
All four centers are aligned by component-level hardware in different sections of the jet engine that work in tandem to deliver Pratt and Whitney’s trademark Dependable Engines.

The Module Centers are currently seeking experienced Project Engineers to provide design engineering leadership to an integrated product team (IPT) made up of designers, structures engineers, product modeling & drawing staff, and systems analysts.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Project management teams throughout the entire project and significant components of other projects
  • Provide leadership over engineering teams and mentor, develop and coach as needed
  • in depth technical knowledge to provide guidance to team, department as well as other business units
  • Develop enhancements for sustaining fielded engines through product deficiency investigations
  • Resolve manufacturing issues in support of new engine production
  • Work with Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) to acquire and manage appropriate budgets for the IPT’s tasks
  • Represent the IPT as the primary focal point to internal and external customers
  • Present project status reports and updates to customers, UTC senior leadership including CIPT and Program Office teams

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of related engineering experience
  • Must have at least 1 year experience in a technical Project Lead role providing guidance to other engineers on a design engineering project
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Turbo-machinery Engineering
  • Direct Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead experience
  • Component level and/or module systems engineering experience
  • Active Secret Clearance


  • B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical engineering, Aerospace engineering, or related discipline
