RAND Engineering & Architecture, DPC, an 85-person Midtown firm named one of Crain's "Best Places to Work in NYC" five times and one of Inc.'s 5,000 Fastest Growing Firms, is seeking an engineer or architect to conduct building evaluations for its Forensics team. Person must be familiar with NYC Building Code and construction, and have knowledge of exterior building envelope and/or mechanical systems. Primary responsibilities entail surveying existing buildings for defects and developing condition reports that include recommendations and budget projections for capital planning. The position involves extensive field work and client contact. 

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture. Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interact with clients required. This is a long-term position with solid growth potential and experience that can be applied to an R.A. or P.E. license.
