Description: Description About the Position: Develop and manage the current year (0 - 24 months) projected spending and resource plan for Transmission and Distribution Electric Station projects. Responsible for the operational efficiency and excellence of the asset replacement program (ARP) station portfolio in NE North Stations. A Program Manager builds internal and external relationships to enable the cost effective planning, scheduling, and execution of electric programs and projects as well as achieve overall portfolio performance targets in the company-wide jurisdictions. In addition, the Program Manager supports other Program and Project Managers and PEX initiatives when applicable. Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Build, manage, and correct the rolling 0 - 24 month project portfolio and resource plan. Develop and track project plans prior to funding and determine appropriate placement within the portfolio. Work with Field Operations personnel and Project Managers to set up methodologies for project construction planning and execution. Monitor spending and resources for the current year plan and forecast the resultant impacts on the Long Term Portfolio and projected resource plan. Work in close liaison with Long Term Resource Planning, Project Management and Asset Management to ensure the Current Year portfolio is properly modeled and resource loaded in Primavera (P6). Produce future divisional resource plans. Monitor and address Plant In Service (PIS) deficiencies via closing of work orders Progress inactive work orders. Work with project teams to develop outage plans. Process project change requests for managed projects. Qualifications Knowledge & Experience Required: Bachelor degree, preferably in an engineering or analytical discipline, with 3 years relevant experience (an advanced degree is preferred) Experience of fact finding including knowledge and understanding of where to find and how to present relevant information Proficient in relevant software e.g. Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint). Experience in project management, budgeting, forecasting and scheduling Advanced analytical skills with competencies to transfer data between software systems, and ability to develop complex business reports in project management systems and other software tools Understanding of Primavera P6 (or MS Project) Familiarity with Business Objects and SAP is a plus Familiar with Transmission & Distribution substation construction is a plus. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and issues simultaneously. Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to travel to divisional offices and other locations as required. Excellent working knowledge and experience in program management principles, tools and techniques. Experience of managing the work of multi-functional or diverse teams, demonstrates taking specific actions to enable the team to function efficiently and effectively. Knowledge of relevant industry practice, current trends and developments in legislation or regulation.

Demonstrates the ability to apply and modify complex theories and learned concepts appropriately. Understands theory behind policies and processes and demonstrates the ability to challenge existing processes and ways of working e.g. taking action to avoid future crisis or create opportunities to improve existing practices. Ability to motivate a project team while in a matrix environment without direct reports Demonstrates the ability to network internally and externally and to develop successful, long-lasting relationships with others and seeks to understand and challenge business scenarios to the benefit of all parties. Has the ability to manage the work of a technical/professional functional area/business unit and demonstrates taking specific actions to enable the team to function efficiently and effectively. Lets people affected by a decision know what's happening and is able to clearly articulate reasons for a decision.
