Description: Description About the Position: To lead the implementation and development of a performance framework to support the Safety Hub. Set and monitor safety performance against Key Performance Indicators. Where performance shortfalls exist, work with the relevant business function leads to define the root cause and support those leads to implement effective corrective action. Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Define, develop and embed within the business, the Safety Hub performance frameworks. Lead the setting of and measurement of performance targets and Key Performance Indicators ensuring they reflect and drive improved safety performance. Lead the reporting on safety performance, ensuring timely and accurate progress updates, utilizing best practice reporting tools. Work closely with Finance and the Process Lead to develop the end-to-end process budget and monitor process spend ensuring adherence to budget. On identifying a safety performance issue, initiate a safety performance project with the relevant business functions to conduct further analysis, identify the root cause of the issue and draw on best practice to agree the optimum corrective action. Work with Process Improvement to develop KPIs and key milestones for change initiatives, monitoring and analyzing performance data to ensure change projects are delivering against expectations. Engage effectively with the business, building sustainable relationships to enable collaborative working and ensure accountability for performance and for correcting performance failures within business functions. Build and mobilize highly motivated, talented and innovative process performance teams to ensure successful delivery of process performance projects. Work with other Process teams internally and externally to ensure progress towards best practice.

Qualifications Knowledge & Experience Required: Bachelor degree required, advanced degree is a plus Experience using Lean and/or Six Sigma Methodologies a plus PEX Practitioner Trained a plus Technical Capabilities: Advanced knowledge and experience of establishing performance frameworks and reporting on progress to senior management. Advanced knowledge and understanding of data driven analytical and problem solving techniques, drawing out key messages from complex data sets, ideally applied in a process/performance monitoring environment. Full understanding of the energy sector, policy, procedures, regulatory issues and long term internal/external influences (governmental, regulatory, communities, employee relations, media, agencies…) Sufficient knowledge and experience of one of the key business functions to be able to demonstrate credibility while working closely with business function experts, holding others to account and challenging ways of working. Wide ranging knowledge of relevant project management methods and significant experience managing project teams with cross-function projects for a large, complex organization, enabling teams to operate innovatively, effectively and efficiently. Supervisory / managerial experience together with effective communication skills in order to work with business and support functions (e.g. Finance) to re-design business processes. Track record of developing successful, long-lasting relationships across the business to drive forward change initiatives, including a demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior managers, deal effectively with resistance to proposals and secure their buy-in and support to the change agenda. Organizational Capabilities: Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills to draw out key messages from large and complex datasets. Exceptional communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to engage and work alongside business function leaders to drive performance improvements and agree required changes to business processes. Persistence and strategic agility to develop and implement sustainable change programs, engaging others and driving change through the business. Team Leadership to promote team effectiveness by soliciting input from team members, communicating expectations of the team and delegating responsibilities while providing support and structure.
