The Customer Technical Service (CTS) group is seeking a Model Manager, A320neo with primary responsibility for PW1100G-JM powered A320neo fleet. Position reports to the Manager of 30K Customer Technical Support. The Model Manager is owner of all aspects of customer technical support of A320neo in service including resolution of technical issues and provides technical communications to customers. Close coordination is required with 30K Program, CIPT's, regulatory authorities, field service and Customer Support groups.
Own customer communication
Conduct daily A320 neo Entry Into Service (EIS)/Field Rep/Production/flight test call to status technical and logistic issues
Released timely AOC (All Operator Communication) for all significant events
Coordinate, prepare and present monthly customer council call presentation to all A320 neo customers
Prepare Technical updates for PW Customer Technical Review Meetings (TRMs) and A320 neo Airbus Customer Symposiums
Support the development / issuance of the PW1100G-JM Service Information Reports (SIRs)
Fleet management planning and execution
Execute safety review actions for A320neo fleet
Coordinate development of Special Instructions (SI) to provide approved technical data for maintenance activity not covered by Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM)
Execute EXTERNAL INSPECTION REVIEW ORDER (EIRO) actions to remove and replace in service non-compliance hardware
Participate in the development, issuance and incorporation of service bulletins including: Coordinate with CTS engineers in the establishment of appropriate Service Bulletins (SB) compliance categories consistent with the overall fleet management plan; Negotiate with other Operational Commercial engine CTS groups to secureSB priority for development / release ; and Interfacewith Customer Fleet Directors (CFD) / Field representatives to ensure SB incorporation in the field and completion is documented in EagleData.
Interface with Maintainability Engineering, the Airframer and Airline customers to ensure minimum maintenance of in-service engines. Plan and execute maintainability hardware demonstrations / reviews as needed.
Monitor engine in service events and report those which are within the FAA Part 21.3 criteria to the FAA within 24 hours in accordance with CTS procedures.
Qualifications We value excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good interpersonal and team player qualities. General knowledge of gas turbine engines and experience with airline customers or airplane manufacturers as well as background in engine test, design, overhaul and/or repair engineering experience or equivalent is desirable. Must be willing to travel to various domestic and overseas Airline Customers, Partners/Suppliers, Repair and Overhaul (O/H) facilities Education Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent background is required with (6) to (10) years of experience.
