Plant Capital Projects research, contractor interface and project implementation; Coordinate with the Outage Optimization group to develop work scopes, parts requirements, contractor walk downs, quotes and necessities; Develop site specific outage optimization strategies; Coordinate facility response/implementation of corporate initiatives and Tech. Standard compliance. Pioneer new engineering strategies to improve/eliminate facility SHE issues. Coordinate with the Lead Mechanic and Storeroom clerk to facilitate plant project execution, optimize and maintain critical plant inventory through the use of the ALM/Peoplesoft system. Analyze plant processes and benchmark with other Martin technologies. Analyze and implement best practices where applicable. Develop and implement process modifications to maximize production and efficiency. The Plant Engineer will report to the O& M Manager.

 


To be considered for this position you must have a solid background in power and/or industrial plant maintenance; a background in E-f-W technology is a plus. A minimum of 5 years of first-line supervisory responsibilities and experience in planning and coordinating major maintenance/overhaul projects is preferred. Should possess solid administrative and computer skills and experience with Peoplesoft, Maximo, Microsoft Project, and Autocad Lite. Formal technical training, and/or a college degree will be considered
in lieu of work experience.
