We seek a dedicated individual who will be responsible for planning and coordinating multiple assigned facility maintenance outages. This individual will work closely with their assigned facilities to create detailed task driven work plans and develop these into an overall Project Schedule which will be coordinated with other outage planners to assure consistency across the fleet. They will assign appropriate resources in coordination with the facility and track pre/execution/post outage progress and lessons learned for reporting purposes. This individual must be a self-starter and able to communicate effectively for needed support and progress of the planning effort and execution to the facility and the outage project managers.

- Reports to Outage Optimization Manager, provides outage schedules for multiple facilities outages, and multiple templates
- Plan critical and parallel path methods, responsible for progression of Outage Readiness Index (ORI).
- Participates in corporate audit of progress based on ORI progression
- Interfaces with Procurement and facility to procure competent and competitive vendor
- Develops scopes of work with field based personnel and interfaces with Procurement to bid, award, and schedule
- Submit 30 day lock down schedule and plan
- Relies on facilities, field based Planners and/or Project Managers to progress schedule, plan and optimize during outage execution, and update actual to schedule
- Contribute to completing review of Post Outage Summaries with improvement actions forward


REQUIREMENTS (Education, Skills, Certificate, Licenses, Experience):
-Bachelor’s degree and/or compatible experience in an engineering or related field
-Minimum 3 years’ experience in outage planning and good understanding of power plant operations and maintenance.
-High proficiency in use of work management systems such as PeopleSoft, Maximo or similar system
-Highly skilled and proficient in use of planning tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera or ….
-Proficient in MS Office, especially with Excel (spreadsheets, modeling and pivot tables), Outlook and Access.
-Able to communicate effectively with management at all levels from the corporate offices and operating facilities.
-Able to compile planning documentation for review and effectively make revisions.
-Good presentation skills for effective communications facility management and the outage project managers.
-Experience and skills planning multiple projects and coordinating them through their various phases.
-Be willing and able to meet travel requirements of the role (current estimated at 50%)
