Business Unit

The Wafer Inspection Division (WIN) is the world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced optical inspection tools for inline monitoring of process defects in advanced semiconductor factories.

  • Design opto-mechanical parts, modules, and subsystems of the next generation optical wafer inspection tools.  Responsible for the complete design process which includes deriving requirements and justifications, feasibility studies, concept design, conducting various analysis such as fluid, thermal, and structural analysis, detailed design, detailed drawings, prototype testing, systems integration and release to manufacturing.
  • Working closely with Optics, Systems, EE, Software, Manufacturing and GSS Engineers to ensure successful integration at both subsystem and system level.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Must have strong mechanical engineering fundamentals specifically precision engineering and mechatronics
  • Must be proficient with solid CAD, Creo Parametric is preferred.
  • Experience in these areas are desirable: opto-mechanical systems, optics alignment, motion controls, data acquisition systems such as LabView.
  • Also desirable to have experience in thermal analysis, structural analysis and computational fluid dynamics.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Doctorate (Academic) with at least 2 years of experience. OR
  • Master's Level Degree with at least 4 years of experience. OR
  • Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 5 years of experience.
