As an
for UTC Aerospace, you will participate with a multidisciplinary team in the development of high quality airborne and space optical systems. You will also develop and execute optical metrology of aspheric optical elements. Additionally, you will perform the alignment and testing of high precision, one-of-a-kind, electro-optical imaging systems. Your work will allow you to divide your time between the lab and the office.

  • Minimum of 3-7 years of work related experience preferred
  • Experience with interferometers and other standard metrology systems such as micrometers or laser gaugers
  • Proficiency in Matlab, Zemax or other analytical tools
  • US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED. Must either hold a current US DoD clearance or be able to obtain and maintain a clearance.
Education BS in Optical Engineering, Physics, or relevant science or engineering background. For instance, if you are a mechanical engineer with a bent towards analytical work as opposed to design work, this may be the job for you.
